Tren Urbano: Rio Bayamon

Tren Urbano is the first passenger rail system constructed in Puerto Rico, and the largest single project ever built on the island. The 17 kilometer project is divided into seven Alignment Sections, each managed as a separate contract groups. Alignment Section #’4 – Rio Bayamon – is comprised of elevated, on-grade and tunnel guideway sections weaving through populated areas and business districts, and includes two design-build stations.
