Route 22 & Chimney Rock Road Interchange

Constructed for the County of Somerset in conjunction with the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), the new interchange at the intersection of Route 22 & Chimney Rock Road in Bridgewater Township includes the construction of a full service interchange that provides a direct connection between NJ Route 28 and US Route 22 and points north. The new interchange includes three new vehicle bridges, ramps, expansion and renovation of two existing vehicle bridges, a new rail bridge and modifications of ramps at I-287. Construction required the temporary and permanent relocation of roadways and numerous underground and overhead utilities.
