Four decades of executive level management of construction operations at an “ENR Top 100” Commercial General Contractor/Construction Manager. Areas of expertise include business unit P&L responsibility, contracts & contract negotiation, risk assessment/management, joint ventures, project management, project planning, pre-construction operations, cost consulting, estimating, value management, purchasing; and scheduling.

Project types range from residential/hospitality to large assembly, mixed-use, retail, office, warehouse and performing arts facilities Worked under prime and joint venture arrangements for clients including local, state and federal government entities, private owners and public-private organizations. Contract arrangements include general contract, construction management, development, design-build and IPD on projects ranging individually in construction cost to more than $200 million.

Administered the successful completion of 6,000+ hotel rooms, 3 million+ square feet of convention and conference center space, 3,000+ multi-family residential units (Condo, Apartment, tax-credit) and 1.6 million+ SF / 4,700+ units of student housing.

Directed successful domestic and international operations in Mexico City, San Juan Puerto Rico, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver and Atlanta. Chaired corporate Risk Management Committee and managed corporate Risk Management staff including VP-General Counsel and VP-Risk Management (insurance – practice policies, CCIP, SDI, and surety).

Maintains Class A General Contractor license – Georgia and an inactive Class A General Contractor license – Florida. Professional affiliations include American Arbitration Association – Construction Industry Panel of Neutrals, Georgia State Financing & Investment Commission (GSFIC) – Advisory Panel, Archdiocese of Atlanta – Projects Review Committee & other Special Projects and Cobb County (GA) Honorary Commanders Association – Advisory Committee
